Consumers' Right director Mamun appears in court
Director of Directorate of National Consumers' Right Protection (DNCRP) Shamim Al Mamun appeared before the High Court on Tuesday for giving his explanation over seeking an allocation of Tk 50 lakh for launching a hotline to hear consumers' allegation.
Mamun (Admin and Finance) appeared before an HC bench of Justice Sheikh Hassan Arif and Justice Md Badruzzaman this morning.
Lawyer Shihab Uddin stood for the writ while lawyer Karuzzaman Kochi was present on behalf of Consumers' Right.
Earlier on August 20, the HC summoned him for giving his explanation.
