Chuadanga OC withdrawn for ‘link to drug trading’
Officer in-charge of Jibannagar Police Station Sheikh Goni Mia has been withdrawn for his alleged involvement with drugs dealing and negligence in duty.
Chuadanga Superintendent of Police Jahidul Islam on Monday said a probe body has been formed to investigate the matter.
“Besides, junior police officers under the OC were reportedly involved in drug trading and he can’t avoid the responsibility for that,” he said.
