Case filed over Rupnagar cylinder blast
Police have filed a case against vendor Abu Sayeed in connection with Wednesday's gas cylinder explosion in city's Rupnagar area that left seven children killed and 20 people injured.
Rupnagar Police Station OC Abul Kalam Azad said the case was filed around 3am on Thursday.
Injured Abu Sayeed is now undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) under police protection, the OC said.
