Cabinet Committee appointment on golden jubilee of independence held
The first meeting of Cabinet Committee happened on Sunday to celebrate the golden jubilee of the country’s independence in a colorful and befitting fashion.
The meeting was held at the conference room of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs in the administrative centre today with Liberation War Affairs Minister and committee chairman AKM Mozammel Haque in the chair, a ministry news release said.
At a press briefing following the meeting, Mozammel Haque revealed the detailed method of the golden jubilee special event of the country’s independence.
He said various programmes will be taken over summer and winter with a check out to spreading the spirit of the Liberation War among the brand new technology and the grassroots.
The minister said a style song, logo and separate website will be launched on the occasion of the golden jubilee.
He said a good sub-committee has been formed by making Info Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud as being convener for preparing the theme song, while Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni for the logo and Talk about Minister for ICT Division Junaid Ahmed Palak for the website.
The facts of the programme will be announced following the final approval of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Mozammel said.
Facts Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, MUNICIPALITY, Rural Expansion and Cooperatives Minister Md Tajul Islam, Foreign Minister A good K Abdul Momen, Talk about Minister for ICT Division Junaid Ahmed Palak and Senior Secretary of MUNICIPALITY Division Helaluddin Ahmed were present in the meeting.
Besides, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni, Talk about Minister for Consumer Administration Farhad Hossain, Talk about Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid, Chief Coordinator of the National Implementation Committee to celebrate the birth centenary of Daddy of the country Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury, Consumer Administration Secretary Sheikh Yusuf Harun, amongst others, jointed the assembly through videoconferencing.
