BTV celebrates 55th  anniversary
Director Standard of Bangladesh Television Harun-ur-Rashid said, "We are trying to ensure the people's to access data and the general demand for entertainment through various plans. The country's mainstream media cannot be lagged behind, consequently, we continue to make an effort to be up-to-date like other televisions in the 21st century."

He said this in press conference organized to mark the occasion at BTV's Rampura business office on Thursday. BTV Director Basic SM Harun-ur-Rashid, Program and Taking care of Director Jagdish Esh, Deputy Director Standard (Course) Dr. Tasmina Ahmed, Deputy Director General (Message) Anup Khastgir, General Manager of Dhaka Centre Nasir Mahmud and various other responsible officers and suppliers were present."We will be growing digital content and courses which will be released before long in this Mujib centenary yr," he also explained, adding that BTV is wanting to hook up with new technologies.

BTV's programs have become more and more modern and the amount of people-friendly programs arranged with a variety of topics is increasing. We focus on media and entertainment and also audience-friendly programs to hook up viewers with BTV, stated Harun-ur-Rashid.BTV started its voyage on 25 December 1964 with a track sung by Ferdausi Rahman.
