BSF returns 2 Bangladeshi fishermen
Two Bangladeshi fishermen who were picked up by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) from Farhadpur Nirmalchar in Godagari upazila of Rajshahi on Thursday were sent back on Friday.

The victims were identified as Abdur Rahim, 55, son of Abu Bakar and Omar Ali, 32, son of Mosharraf Hossain of Premtoli Kathalbaria village in the upazila.

They were handed over to Bangladesh through a company commander-level flag meeting between BSF and Border Guard Bangladesh at Bhatopara of the border in the afternoon, said Premtoli BGB camp company commander Farid Hossain, UNB reports.

Nayan Ali, member of Ward No 1 of Matikata Union Parishad, said the BSF men from Tikna Char camp picked them up forcibly while returning home from the Padma River through Nirmalchar area on Thursday afternoon.
