Brother kills brother in B’baria
A man killed his cousin over a trifle matter at Borikandi village under Borikandi union of Nabinagar upazila of the district on Friday (July 20).
The deceased was identified as Maruf Miah, 22, son of late Morshed Miah, hailed from the same village.
Maruf had an argument with his cousin Biplob over drug addiction. At a heated moment of argument, Biplob took out a knife and thrust into Maruf’s body. However, Maruf died on the way to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital, quoting Md Aslam Sikdar, officer-in-charge of Nabinagar Police Station.
The body was sent to District Sadar Hospital morgue. A case will be filed in this regard, said police official.
