Ex-JnU teacher passes away
Mir Mosharraf Hossain, also known as Rajib Mir, former teacher of Journalism Department at Chittagong University and Jagannath University, passed away at a hospital in India early Saturday.
Rajib, a former student of Dhaka University's Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Chennai for liver cirrhosis, breathed his last around 1:37am.
He was also a writer, researcher and an activist in various human rights movements, reports UNB
Rajib left behind his 15-month-old daughter Bibhor, his wife Sumona Khan, host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
