BNP leader Ahsan Ullah Hasan dies of coronavirus
Dhaka City North BNP general secretary Ahsan Ullah Hasan died of coronavirus infection at about 9:40pm on Sunday.

His members of the family alleged that they couldn't arrange a seat for him at the intensive care unit of any hospital  or ventilation despite repeated attempts. 

Confirming the death of Ahsan Ullah Hasan, BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said he died at Shahabuddin Medical College Hospital in Dhaka on Sunday night while underwent treatment there.

Dhaka City BNP North office secretary ABM Abdur Razzak said Hasan Bhai died at Shahabuddin Medical College Hospital at about 9:40pm on Sunday being infected with coronavirus. He previously been facing shortness of breath from the morning. He was admitted to a healthcare facility through much lobbying.

He left out his wife Rina Hasan, two sons Sohrab Al Hasan and Sakib Al Hasan.

Ahsan Ullah Hasan contested in the last Jatiya Sangsad election from Mirpur constituency as the BNP candidate.

He also served the Dhaka City Corporation doubly elected ward commissioner.

In separate statements, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir have expressed deep shock at the death of Ahsan Ullah Hasan.

In addition they prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
