Benapole Express to hit tracks July 17
Much-awaited train 'Benapole Express’ is all set to hit Benapole-Dhaka rail route for the maiden trip on July 17.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to launch the 12-boggy train, through a videoconference from her state residence Ganabhaban.
At 1:15pm on July 17, the train will leave Benapole for Dhaka.
Railways West Zone Chief Transport Administrator Md Shah Newaz confirmed the matter to Banglanews Wednesday (July 10).
Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan, Bangladesh Railway (BR) Director General Md Shamsuzzaman and other higher officials will join the premier, in the launching.
However, tickets of Benapole Express will go on sale within a few days, said Md Shah Newaz.
