Bangladeshi hajj pilgrim killed in Saudi road crash
One was killed and several others received injuries as a bus carrying Bangladeshi hajj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
Identities of the deceased and injured could not be known yet.
The accident took place in Wazul Fara area 100 kilometers far from Madina around 11:15am (local time), said Fakhrul Islam, first secretary (press) at Bangladesh Embassy in Saudi Arabia.
The Bangladeshis were ravelling to Madinah to visit the grave of Prophet Muhammad (S), the official added.
Press secretary Fakhrul also said one of the tyres of the bus burst, causing the accident.
Among the injured, four were admitted to Wazul Fara Hospital, eight to King Fahad Hospital, seven to Mikat Hospital and two to Ohud Hospital.
