Bangladesh, India celebrities participate in TV reality show
Celebrities of Bangladesh and India are going to contest in a reality dance show that will be aired on private television channel Nagorik TV from today.
'The aim of the show is to bring together celebrities of the two countries. I hope the viewers will find the programme entertaining', said Kamruzzaman Babu, head of programmes of Nagorik TV, at a press conference held at Dhaka Club on Saturday where celebrities from both Bangladesh and India were present.
A total of 12 celebrities comprising six from Bangladesh and six from Kolkata, India will compete in the main competition section of the 72- episode show titled 'Bajlo Jhumur Tarar Nupur',
Local actresses Ishana, Bhabna, Jannatul Ferdous Peya, Orchita Sporshia, Amrita Khan, Safa Kabir and Indian actresses Rimjhim, Sohini, Ena Shaha, Lavly, Prity will complete against each other in different genres of dance, including, Bharatanatyam, Monipuri dance, hip hop dance and others in the show.
Local actresses Mahiya Mahi, Sadia Jahan Prova and Zakia Bari Momo and Indian actresses Geetashree, Payel and Rituparna will also complete in the show that will feature renowned local actor Ilias Kanchan and Tollywood actress Satabdi Roy as chief judges.
