Bangabandhu’s portrait installed in parliament
The portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has been create inside main parliament session room.
“According to the directive of the High Court, the portrait of Father of the Nation has been installed in the parliament session roomâ€, said Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury first of the parliament session on Sunday.
“This is a land mark in the annals of the parliament in Bangladeshâ€, she added.
