Bachchu's son performs in his father's stead
For the first time Love Runs Blind (LRB) performed live on stage without their front-man, Ayub Bachchu, at Chittagong's MA Aziz stadium, in the concert 'Shekorer Shondhane Mega Concert.' Bachchu's son, Ahnaf Tazwar, played guitar on Wednesday evening and raised a storm with his performance.

Ahnaf sang, cried, and made thousands in the crowd cry. Ahnaf's sister, Fairuj Saffra, was also on stage with the rest of the members. Even if Ayub Bachchu was not performing, the energy felt like he was really back.

At 9:45pm the Managing Director and CEO of Gaan Bangla channel, Kaushik Hossain Taposh, took the mike and said, "It is heart-breaking to call LRB on stage without Ayub Bachchu. But Bachchu Bhai said, 'the show must go on.' Therefore, we will have LRB on stage now."

Immediately the existing band members of LRB, Swapan, Shamim, Masum, and Romel, got on stage. The crowd went wild with emotion, when they saw Bachchu's son and daughter getting on stage with the LRB members.

Taposh requested Ahnaf to say a few words. In an emotion-filled voice Ahnaf said, "Please remember my father just like this, so he may hear his beloved Chittagong from the other side." Fairuj only said, "My father is no more. Please pray for him."

After these brief speeches, LRB performed "Obhilashi Ami, Obhimani Tumi." Then they performed the famous song "Cholo Bodle Jai." Manam Ahmed of Miles also played guitar with LRB. The other performers at the concert were Hridoy Khan, Rinku, Reshmi, Shamim, Kuddus Boyati, Chisti Baul, and Fakir Shabuddin.
