Asif bringing sequel of 'O Priya Tumi Kothay'
After 17 years, Asif Akbar's popular song 'O Priya Tumi Kothay' is returning, but with a sequel. Asif Akbar first stepped into the Bangladeshi music industry through 'O Priya Tumi Kothay' album in 2001. Just after the release, the singer created a storm among the music lovers with the titular track of the album.
At that time, the album sold 60 lakh copies. The album earned the highest earning ever in the history of the music industry of Bangladesh. After 17 years, the artist is bringing a sequel of the superhit song 'O Priya Tumi Kothay.' He believes that the sequel sons will be as popular as the original one.
Titled 'O Priya Tumi Kemon Acho', the song is written by Snehashish Ghosh. It was composed by Mohammad Milon and the music was directed by MMP Roni.
About the song Asif Akbar said, "Suddenly the new song was planned. When I first heard the song, I had a feeling that something good is going to happen. It was based on 'O Priya Tumi Kothay'. Regarding the sequel song, I just want to say that, 'O Priya Tumi Kemon Acho' became so good that it will not disrespect the first song. I hope the audience will be as blown away as they were back then."
Asif informed that the making of the music video of this song has already begun. The music video is directed by Shoikot Reza. Asif Akbar himself acted in the music video while Suchona will be seen alongside him. The music video will soon be release under Deadline Entertainment banner.
