Ashulia Fire: Woman succumbs to injuries
A woman, one of the five family members suffered injuries in a gas fire in Ashulia died in Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) early Saturday. .

Ninety six percent of deceased Hasina Begum's body was burnt in the fire that broke out in a kitchen, reports bdnews24.com.

On Friday, Hasina, 40, along with her husband Arab Ali, 50, their son Abdur Rob, 30, his wife Ripa Akter, 25, and Ripa and Rob’s daughter Ayesha Akter, 2 received injuries in the fire. 

Four of them are undergoing treatment at the hospital. The family came from Jibonnagar in Chuadanga.

Arab Ali has burns on 60 percent of his body, Rob 88 percent, Ripa 7 percent and two-year-old Ayesha 32 percent, said Sub-Inspector Bachchu Miah of DMCH Outpost citing a doctor.

“Hasina went to the kitchen and lighted the stove when the fire broke out throughout the house; the locals brought the injured to the hospital,” said Bachchu Miah citing the relatives of the victims.
