Armed Forces collection to start fieldwork completely swing Wednesday
Members of the MILITARY are set to start their fieldwork across the country completely swing on Wednesday to greatly help the civil administration make certain that people maintain community distancing and coronavirus suspects remain in quarantine to prevent the pass on of the virus.
They will be draped in personal protective apparatus (PPE) while in duty, said the official of the Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR) Directorate.
On Monday, the federal government decided to deploy participants of MILITARY -- Army, Navy and Surroundings Force -- ‘in aid to civil ability’ to tackle the coronavirus situation.
Following government’s directives, army customers were sent to all of the districts about Tuesday within the deployment. They also placed coordination meetings with the neighborhood administration.
The army members begins their field activities on Wednesday.
They will prepare lists of coronavirus-infected persons and assist the civil administration to take effective steps to make sure that those returned from overseas remain in home-quarantine.
Army may also provide medical assistance at the division and district amounts, if necessary.
Similarly, customers of Bangladesh Navy will continue to work to aid the civil administration in coastal areas while participants of Bangladesh Air Force will airlift necessary medical items and emergency transport.
Contacted, ISPR Director Abdullah Ibne Jayed said that participants of Armed Forces will wear PPE when they will be working to assist the neighborhood administration because of their own safety.
He said they'll formally start discharging their duties on Wednesday.
Sources in the ISPR Directorate said people of Bangladesh Navy were deployed found in 19 upazilas of 6 coastal districts on Tuesday. The upazilas are actually Sadar, Borhanuddin, Doulatkhan, Charfasson, Monpura, Lalmohon and Tajumuddin in Bhola district, Sandwip in Chattogram district, Hatiya sans Sobarnachar in Noakhali, Teknaf, Kutubdia and Maheshkhali in Cox’s Bazar, Mongla in Bagerhat and Sadar and Amtali, Betagi, Bamna, Patharghata and Taltali upazilas of Barguna district.
Navy members have already started their function to aid the civil administration found in those coastal upazilas.
They are also conducting their regular patrolling alongside their newly-designated responsibilities.
Bangladesh on Tuesday confirmed its fourth death from coronavirus and reported 6 more new cases, taking the amount of cases to 39.
However, the quantity of Covid-19 patients in the country is currently 30 with the death of four and five previously making recovery.
