The elements experts, however, said the persons of Bangladesh are experiencing less intensity of cold this winter.

They said the temperature is greater than it had been in previous years during December and January.

According to a recently available report released simply by Global Climate Associated risk Index 2019, Bangladesh may be the seventh most afflicted country on the globe due to “extreme weather situations” over twenty years between 1998 and 2017.

Talking to UNB, Bazlur Rashid, a meteorologist at Bangladesh Meteorology Department, explained the united states has been suffering from a warmer condition designed for over a week because of westerly disturbance.

He said the lowest heat 11.6 degrees Celcius was recorded in Noagaon while the highest 31.7 degrees Celcius in Cox’s Bazar on Saturday.

As per their examination, Bazlur said January may be the coldest month of Bangladesh historically. “But the country is currently experiencing a summer months like climate as the wind is definitely carrying dampness from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian ocean which is blocking the movement of wintry wind. We call it westerly disturbance.

He said Bangladesh has been witnessing comparatively warmer cold months for ten years, with the gradual fall in cold intensity as the country’s overall heat range has marked around 1.2 degrees Celcius rise through the period.

“There’s not any exception this winter, also. The mercury is not falling to the particular level it should be at the moment. The temperature is demonstrating an uptrend from the finish of December,” the meteorologist noticed.

Meteorologist Md Aftab Uddin said a warmer condition features been prevailing in the united states due to a strong influence of westerly found in Kashmir, Himalayas and Rajasthan areas. “That’s why northwesterly wind move that brings cool has been obstructed.”

Besides, he said, moisture in the wind features increased due to the influence a good lower-level westerly, creating a great uneasy and warmer state.

“This situation will end within 2-3 days and the night temperature may start falling from Tuesday night,” Aftab said.

He said a good mild cold wave might sweep over the united states from Thursday or Fri and it'll persist for a few days. “The temp in Dhaka is certainly unlikely to fall considerably through the cold wave.”

Aftab another cool wave my come over the last week of the month which will have influence mainly on the country’s northern region.

He said this season the winter commenced normally found in early November. “We usually contact December, January and February as the winter season. Because the winter began early on this season, the temp may continue to rise from the next week of February.”

Afatb said the heat range came right down to below 6 degrees Celsius during February this past year in several areas, including Rangpur, but it may not happen this season.
