Alamgir's five decades found in cinema
Actor Alamgir is a man of cinema from the beginning to end. He has been around take pleasure in with cinema for 48 years. Not merely sound knowledge but his alertness and dedication as well are most encouraging.

This is why sometimes he has turned into a great hero, sometimes he has turned into a true legend, sometimes a guardian of several whims and sometimes a superstar. He first appeared before the surveillance camera on June 24, 1972 to act in the video 'Amar Jonmabhumi' beneath the direction of the overdue film director Alamgir Kumkum. 

Up to now, Alamgir has acted in more than 225 films. The film he first of all produced was 'Jhumka'. At one time, he also discovered music from Syed Abdul Hadi. In Mostafa Mahmud's motion picture 'Manihar', he built his first play-back in what of Gazi Mazharul Anwar to the tune of Satya Saha. 

He was in the future awarded the National Film Award a complete of nine times, environment a record for the best amount of National Film Awards among all of the actors of Bangladesh. The 1st film he directed was 'Nishpap' (1986). 

Regarding his long voyage through film, Alamgir explained, "Honestly, I am no actor to evaluate performing. The scope of performing is so vast that it is not possible for one person to start to see the end. Various give me several titles. 

But I have constantly tried to be an actor through learning from your errors. Behind my present situation is of course my primary film director who found out me, the one whom I am grateful to, the revered Alamgir Kumkum. He has educated me to become a hero in such a way that I do certainly not fly in the sky, which explains why I even now walk on the floor.

I just respectfully remember the talented director Mostafa Mahmud, Kamal Ahmed, Subhash Dutt, Khan Ataur Rahman, Chashi Nazrul Islam, Amjad Hossain, AJ Mintu, Kazi Hayat, Delwar Jahan Jhontu, Saiful Azam Kashem, Malek Afsari and more. They educated me by retaining my hands. I am fortunate to have the possibility to learn acting in the company of such talented directors."
