Actor Waseem to be buried at Banani Graveyard
Veteran actor Mesbahuddin Ahmed, popularly known as superstar Waseem, will be laid to eternal rest at Banani Graveyard in the administrative centre after Zuhr prayers on Sunday.
The first namaj-e-janaza for Waseem will be held at Gulshan Azad mosque after Zuhr prayers. Later, he'll be buried at Banani Graveyard following the second funeral prayers.
Bangladesh Film Artistes Association general secretary Zayed Khan confirmed the news.
The 74-year-old actor breathed his last at about 12:40am at Shahabuddin Medical College Hospital in Dhaka.
Waseem had been sick for some time. He had been experiencing kidney, lung and eye diseases, and also from high blood pressure. As his condition deteriorated on Saturday night, he was rushed to the hospital after 11:00pm where doctors pronounced him dead at 12:40am.
