Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan to enter brokerage business
World's top rated all-rounder cricketer Shakib Al Hasan can be stepping into brokerage organization in Bangladesh.

His business Monarch Holdings has recently got approval from the currency markets regulator to have Trading Best suited Entitlement Certificate (TREC), a sort of licence to perform brokerage house.

Shakib is the chairman of Monarch Holdings, according to the company's website.

The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has approved 30 new brokerage houses or issued TRECs for investing shares in the currency markets.

From the total 54 TRECs proposed by the country's main stock exchange Dhaka STOCK MARKET (DSE), 30 TRECs have already been approved in the initial stage.

The 30 fresh TREC approved companies are: Kabir Securities, Monarch Holdings, Sohel Securities, RAK Capital, Jamuna Bank Securities, Snigdha Equities, International Securities Company, South Asia Securities, Tri Superstar Securities, 3 III Securities, Sonali Securities, KDS Show and Securities, Al Haramain Securities, Mir Securities, TK Show and Securities, NRB Bank Securities, SBAC Bank Expenditure, Amaya Securities, Prudential Capital, Tafaqul Islamic securities, BNB Securities, Agrani Insurance Securities, Mahid Securities, Baraka Securities, ANC Securities, SFIL Securities, Tasiya Securities, Dynasty Securities, Crystal Securities and Trade X Securities.
