86,132 administered COVID-19 vaccines on Saturday
A total of 86,132 persons were administered COVID-19 vaccines across the country on Saturday (March 13).

Among the vaccine recipients, 51,435 were male and 34,697 feminine, based on the data of Management Information Program of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

As of March 13, the quantity of vaccine receivers was 43,0,4259. Among the vaccine receivers, 27,39,897 are man and 15,64,362 woman as the countrywide vaccination campaign premiered on February 7.

People aged 40 years and above now will get registered to receive COVID-19 vaccines, the health ministry sources said.

The vaccination get was conducted at 50 hospitals in Dhaka city and 1,005 hospitals outside the capital today, the DGHS said, adding that the immunization programme will get started at 8am and it'll continue till 2.30 pm every day.

But some hospitals will continue the vaccination program throughout the day, the health official said.

The inoculation would be administered among people in government hospitals up to upazila-level while 55,88,705 persons got registered till 5.30pm today.
