Fakhrul receives COVID vaccine
BNP Secretary Basic Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir got the initial dosage of coronavirus vaccine on Mon.

He received the jab in Kuwait Maitree Hospital each morning, the BNP leader told UNB.

He visited Singapore for treatment on Jan 30 and returned home last Thursday.

Meanwhile, BNP Standing Committee participants Nazrul Islam Khahn, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Chairperson’s adviser Zainul Abedin Faruk and party’s Joint Secretary General Mahbub Uddin Khokon have previously received the first medication dosage of the vaccine.

Bangladesh launched a good mass countrywide vaccine drive on Feb 7. The federal government signed a manage the Serum Institute of India Pvt Ltd for 30 million doses of Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.

Serum provides the doses within June this year.

Up to now, 4,399,324 people have registered for vaccine and 3,110,525 of these have received the initially shot. The second dose has to be used 8-12 weeks of the initial jab.

Bangladesh reported its primary coronavirus cases on March 8 last year and the first death on March 18.

Until Monday, the united states reported 546,801 conditions with 8,416 fatalities. But there were 497,797 recoveries up to now.
