4 Games, 0 Wins: Pep Reacts To Man City's Defeat To Villa
Pep Guardiola has reacted to Manchester City's 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa in the Premier League on Wednesday as he set an unwanted record.

The Citizens have now gone four consecutive matches without a victory in England's top division, after succumbing to defeat against the Villans at Villa Park.

A 74th-minute strike from Leon Bailey in what was a dominant performance from the home side saw the Manchester giants drop to fourth on the table, with Villa moving up to third. Guardiola's team managed only two shots on goal – the lowest tally ever record in a game by a team managed by the Spaniard – compared to Villa's 22.

Speaking after the match, the ex-Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach admitted that the best side claimed all three points.

"The better team won," he said, according to the Mirror.

"I said to the players: 'In football, this happens. I know you wanted to win, I know you tried, because you have proved to me and everyone many, many times.'
