Brentford 0-1 Manchester City
Premier League Champions Manchester City ended their campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Brentford on Sunday evening. The game's only goal arrived in the 85th minute, with Ethan Pinnock nodding past Stefan Ortega from close range. The result sees Brentford secure a surprise league double over Pep Guardiola's charges this season.

Arsenal finished their campaign with a 5-0 thrashing of Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners got the breakthrough after 11 minutes when Gabriel Jesus' cross was nodded home by Granit Xhaka, was seemingly playing his final game for the club.

The lead was doubled three minutes later when Xhaka completed his brace with a close-range finish after some good work by Martin Odegaard, before Bukayo Saka added a third goal with a lovely finish on 27 minutes.

Gabriel Jesus added the fourth goal on 58 minutes before Jakub Kiwior rounded off the scoring with 12 minutes to play.

Manchester United secured third spot on the final day after defeating Fulham 2-1 at Old Trafford.

Fulham got the breakthrough in the 19th minute when Kenny Tete lost his marker to nod home a corner from Willian for his first goal of the season.

The visitors had a chance to double the lead on 26 minutes after being awarded a penalty for Casemiro's foul. However, Aleksandar Mitrovic's penalty was saved by David de Gea.

United did get back on level terms shortly before the break as Fred surged into the box before the ball fell to Jadon Sancho, who poked into an empty net.

The Red Devils took the lead ten minutes into the second half when Fred delightfully played in Bruno Fernandes, who calmly dinked the ball over Bernd Leno.

Southampton 4-3 Liverpool
Relegated Southampton and Liverpool played to a thrilling 4-4 draw in their final game of the season at St Mary's Stadiu.

The Reds took the lead on ten minutes through Diogo Jota's close-range, before the out-going Roberto Firmino doubled the lead in the 14th minute.

The Saints managed to pull a goal back five minutes later when captain James Ward-Prowse found the back of the net with a neat finish and they were on level terms on 28 minutes thanks to Kamaldeen Sulemana's finish.

The home side completed the turnaround two minutes after the break, as Sulemana completed his brace with a wonderful solo effort.

Adam Armstrong got the fourth goal for Southampton on 64 minutes, but the Reds got back into the contest thanks to goals from Cody Gakpo and Jota.

Everton 1-0 Bournemouth
Everton have avoided safety on the final day of the Premier League season after defeating Bournemouth 1-0 at Goodison Park.

After a scoreless first half, the Toffees broke the deadlock in the 57th minute through Abdoulaye Doucoure, who found the back of the net with a superb strike from distance.

Leeds United 1-4 Tottenham Hotspur
Leeds United were relegated to the Championship after a 4-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at Elland Road.

The hosts got off to the worst possible start as Harry Kane opened the scoring for Spurs after just two minutes in the first half.

The lead was doubled two minutes into the second half, with Pedro Porro bagging his second goal with a neat finish into the far corner.

Jack Harrison did pull a goal back for Leeds on 67 minutes, but Kane wrapped up the win with his second of day two minutes later, before Luas Moura grabbed the fourth goal late on.

Leicester City 2-1 West Ham United
Leicester City suffered relegation despite beating West Ham United 2-1 at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes took the lead in the 34th minute as Harvey Barnes collected a pass from Kelechi Iheanacho before firing past Lukasz Fabianski.

Wout Faes doubled the lead in the 62nd minute, before Pablo Fornals pulled one back for the Hammers.

However, with Everton beating Bournemouth at Goodison Park, the 2016 Premier League winners finished in 18th position.
