2nd perspective plan for developed Bangladesh by 41: PM
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said her government is going to implement the second perspective plan in order to transform Bangladesh into a developed and prosperous country in South Asia by 2041.

The premier added saying: “To achieve the goal, we’re executing the first perspective plan, while we’re set to implement the second perspective plan 2021-2041.” 

She revealed this plan at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in the capital on Sunday (November 24).

She also revealed: “We adopted and implemented the fifth and sixth five-year plans, while the seventh five-year plan is under execution.

“Alongside the five-year plans, we’ve formulated a long-term perspective plan 2010-2021, the first of its kind in the country” Sheikh Hasina added.

The premier said after assuming office, her government undertook some immediate plans for speeding up the country’s development

Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzaque, Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, Industries Minister Nurul Mazid Mahmud Humayun, Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Md Shahab Uddin, PM’s Advisors HT Imam, Dr Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury and Dr Mashiur Rahman, Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam, PM’s Principal Secretary Md Nojibur Rahman, Chief Coordinator on the SDG Affairs at the PMO Md Abul Kalam Azad, PMO Secretary Sajjadul Hassan, and PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim, among others, were present on the occasion.
