2 Sarbahara Party members killed in ‘gunfight’
Two members of Purba Banglar Sarbahara Party were killed in a gunfight between two internal groups in Sherpur upazila of the district.

The gunfight took place around 1:45 am on Saturday (April 27).

“Internal gunfight occurred at Vabani Bazar area. After being of informed of that, police rushed to the spot and found two bodies lying there,” Additional Superintend of Police (ASP) (media) Sanaton Chakrabarti confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Saturday morning (April 27).

“Police took the bodies to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College in Bogra, but doctors declared them dead,” ASP added.

“Both of the deceased were-named as Afsar Ali, 45, and Liton, 40- members of Purba Banglar Sarbahara Party as far as it has been learnt,” ASP also added.

Police seized 1 pistol, 1 shooter gun, 8 rounds of bullets, 2 Machetes, 3 posters written by Sarbahara Party from the spot.
