2 killed as truck rams auto-rickshaw in Bogra
BOGRA: Two persons were killed as a truck rammed an auto-rickshaw in Shajahanpur upazila of Bogra.
The accident happened on the second bypass road of Sujapara Dahbad area of the upazila, around 10:30am Wednesday (June 27).
The deceased were identified as Sultan, 45, the driver of the auto-rickshaw, from Gabtoli upazila of Bogra, and Komer Uddin Pramanik, 30, a passenger, from Shajahanpur upazila.
Shajahanpur Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Jahangir Kabir told Banglanews that a brick-laden truck rammed the auto-rickshaw, leaving Komer dead on the spot and Sultan injured.
Sultan succumbed to his injuries after being taken to a hospital.
However, both the vehicles were seized, added SI Jahangir Kabir.
