2 get life term for killing college student
A Kishoreganj court on Wednesday convicted two people and sentenced them to life term imprisonment in a case filed for killing a college student.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Mohammad Abu Taher handed down the verdict.
The convicts are Piplu and Sajib.
The court also fined them Tk 10,000 each. In default, to suffer, six month more in jail.
According to the case statement, the convicted persons killed Shafiq Azad, a student of Wali Newaz Khan College, in front of Taripatty intersection in Kishoreganj Municipality on December 28, 1999.
