2 dies in metropolis train accident
Two persons were killed because they were crushed beneath the wheels of a teach on the railway brand adjacent to Khidmah Hospital in city’s Khilgaon area today.
The victims were Nurul Islam, 28, a salesman of ACI Company and his colleague Rakib, 27, the occupants of Dhaka, studies BSS.
The accident occurred on the railway range around 12.30 pm, Dhaka Railway Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rakib Ul Hossain confirmed the matter to BSS.
The OC said Nurul Islam and Rakib crossed the railway series and the duo then accidentally got stuck beneath the train’s engine while crossing the railway brand together and immediately fell off and died at that moment.
Becoming informed, Dhaka Railway Law enforcement rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies and sent to the Dhaka Medical College Medical center (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.
