Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro reportedly hit with a headphone issue
Xiaomi recently launched its latest smartphones — Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro in India. The smartphones were launched on February 14 and have been made available in two flash sales. While the Redmi Note 5 Pro will go on sale today at 12 pm, a possible issue seems to have encountered related to the headphone sound output.

According to Gizchina, the Mi community forum has witnessed a string of complaints regarding the volume of Redmi Note 5 Pro when a headphone is in use. “Users have complained that though the normal speaker volume is fine, once a headphone is connected, the volume drops to ambient levels. Currently, a couple of Mi Community moderators are requesting for the buglog from the complaining users although, neither Xiaomi nor the Mi Community Admins have acknowledged this problem," the report stated.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is an affordable mid-range phone and offers a good value for money. To recall, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a 5.99-inch IPS LCD full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels. The smartphone sports a 12MP+5MP dual rear camera setup and a 20MP front shooter with LED flash and Beautify 4.0. It also comes with Face unlock feature.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 5 Pro is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 636 chipset paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB of storage. The phone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat based MIUI 9 out-of-the-box. The handset draws its power from a 4,000mAh battery and comes with dual SIM 4G VoLTE capabilities. The Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with a starting price of Rs 13,999.

Besides, Xiaomi will unveil a new budget-friendly Mi TV in India today at 3 pm. The Chinese company is expected to launch the Mi TV 4C or Mi TV 4A in the country today.
