Worldwide coronavirus death toll reaches 239,588
As panic of coronavirus infection is grappling the world daily, the global death toll from coronavirus climbed to 239,588 by Saturday morning.

Since it was initially reported in China in December this past year, coronavirus has infected 3,400,767 people globally, according to Worldometer.

Of these, 2,079,587 are currently being treated and 51,355 among them are in serious or critical condition, reports UNB.

Up to now, 1,081,592 persons have recovered from COVID-19.

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11.

Meanwhile, the united states has confirmed 65,766 deaths and 1,131,280 cases while Spain reported24,824deaths and c 242,988 cases till Saturday.

Italy, the worst-hit European country, has recorded deaths 28,236 and207,428cases.

France, alternatively, has reported 24,594 deaths andc 167,346 cases. In the united kingdom, authorities have reported27,510deaths among177, 454confirmed cases.

The coronavirus COVID-19 is affecting 212 countries and territories all over the world.

In Bangladesh, the country has so fir confirmed 170 deaths and 8231 coronavirus cases.
