Windows 10 will get faster with a new update soon
If a considerable part of your day goes behind ploughing battlefields or devouring race tracks in the virtual world on your PC, then there’s good news — Microsoft has rolled out a new Ultimate Performance mode. The feature is presently available only to Fast Ring members of the Windows 10 Pro testing community and could be rolled out to users with the stable version soon.

The Ultimate Performance mode is claimed to eliminate the micro latencies associated with fine-grain power management. Microsoft states that the Ultimate Performance Power plan is selectable either by an OEM on new systems or selectable by a user. As with all power modes, the Ultimate Performance mode is also customisable.

If you are a Fast Ring member of the Windows 10 Pro community and are interested in trying this out, you can go to Control Panel and navigate to Power Options under Hardware and Sound. Microsoft clearly states that the systems will experience increased power input and will alter other power-based parameters as well. Do note that only desktop users will able to try out this feature as of now. However, Microsoft could bring the aforementioned feature to portable computers in the future as well.

Microsoft is also bringing in new and improved emojis to Windows 10 based on user inputs with this update. The update also contains patches for several bugs and issues in the Insider Build of Windows 10.
