Who are going to rock National Film Award 2016?
The ceremony of 'National Film Award 2016' is going to take place on July 8 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Agargaon of the capital. On that very day, the winners will receive the awards from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
As usual, the second part of the ceremony will have colorful performances by renowned celebrities of Bangladesh.Amongst the performances there will be a series of special dances performed by some of the Dhallywood's most popular duos.
News has that the whole program will be hosted by Ferdous and Purnima. General Secretary-elect of Bangladesh Film Artistes' Association and actor Zayed Khan said, "Five pairs of us will take part in a special dance. All the dances will be choreographed with the songs from Farooque vai and Babita apa's films."
The five duos are- Riaz-Apu Biswas, Zayed Khan-Sahara, Amin Khan-Popy, Emon-Tama Mirza and Symon Sadik-Shimla. The dances will be choreographed by Masum Babul and Evan Shahriar Shohag.
The songs these five pair will dance on are- 'Ore Nil Doria' from 'Sareng Bou', 'Chul Dhoiro Na Khopa Khule Jabe Je Nagor' from 'Noyonmoni', 'Shob Shokhire Par Korite Nebo Ana Ana' from 'Sujon Sokhi', 'Tumi Dub Dio Na Jole Konna' from 'Jhinuk Mala' and 'Chupi Chupi bolo Kew Jene Jabe' from 'Nishan'.
Besides, there will be an array of musical performance performed by Abdul Hadi, Protik Hasan and others. Even Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy will have an instrumental music performance.
This year, National Film Award will give the lifetime achievement awards to Babita and Farooque. The special dance event has been choreographed to honor them.
