Washington, D.C. declares Mujib Year
THE UNITED STATES capital Washington, D.C. has declared Mujib Time from March 17, 2020 to March 17, 2021, marking the birth centenary special event of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser released a proclamation in the U.S. capital on Monday congratulating the persons of Bangladesh upon this special occasion, explained the Bangladesh Embassy in Washington, D.C.

The proclamation also says “the Embassy of Bangladesh has contributed to the growth and cultural diversity of Washington, D.C.”
