War-based video campaign on friendship
Airtel released a fitting video that shows the undying spirit of friendship that resonates the same way now, as it did in 1971, to celebrate the 47th Victory day of Bangladesh.

The video deploys a never before used digital solution in the country, by allowing the audience to switch between 1971 and the present time by clicking on the toggle bar located at the bottom of the video, while watching it. By clicking across the different timelines, the audience can easily have a feel on how friendship played a crucial role in 1971.

Then, in the present timeframe, a young lady knocks on her friend's door in the evening to request him to lend his vehicle to take her father to the hospital on an emergency, while in 1971 timeframe; a similar story is played out where the vehicle is requested to commute to the place of a military operation.

In another scene, in the present time, a blind young man saves his friend as he struggles to prepare for an exam, while in 1971 timeframe, a blind young man asks his friend to act like a blind man to help him have an easy passage through the military check-post on his way to an operation.

"On this occasion of 47th anniversary of our hard-earned victory, we have brought to life such a story on friendship that makes a bridge between 1971and 2018with the feeling that the inspiration to build the country is rekindled. Viewers will enjoy the winning story of 1971 and the success story of 2018 simultaneously on screen," said Redoan Rony.
