Walton compressors reach Turkish market
Walton has expanded its export basket further seeing as the local consumer electronics giant started shipments of manufactured in Bangladesh compressors for refrigerators and air conditioners to Turkey.
"We try to export a single million systems of compressors for some African, Middle East countries and Turkey by 2021," said Meer Muzahedin Islam, ceo of Walton Compressor.
The quantity would hit five million by 2025, as even more export places will be explored by enough time, he said.
"The company was busy creating compressors for the neighborhood market until this past year. Now we are trying to serve the foreign nations, as we have already increased our capability to create four million compressors a yr."
On July 7, the compressors were delivered to Turkish service Kargi, which imports, exports and markets hi-tech spare parts for domestic and professional goods throughout Turkey and in addition abroad, especially in European countries.
Walton's International Business Product President Edward Kim and Kargi's Managing Director Emin Kargi signed a package in this regard, building the Turkish brand a distributor of Walton products found in the transcontinental Eurasian country.
