Vitamin-A campaign to continue till June 19
The government has taken initiative to administer nearly 2.20 crore children aged 6 months to 5 years with vitamin-A capsule across the country.
The campaign which started on June 5 and will continue till June 19, said a press release today.
As part of the the campaign, every child aged 6-11 months will be given one blue vitamin A capsule and every child from 12 months to 59 months will be given one red vitamin A capsule .
Vitamin A capsules are being fed daily from 8 am to 4 pm at community clinics and other government health care centers, including government-designated EPI centers, except on public holidays, said the release.
