Virus toll hits to 2,801 in nation with 50 more deaths
Bangladesh's novel coronavirus deaths tally rose to 2,801 on Thursday seeing that 50 more fatalities reported in last 24 hours.
During this time period, the virus situations surged to 2,16,110 after detecting 2,856 corona patients, Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, More Director General of the Directorate General of Overall health Services (DGHS), verified the figure at the daily health and wellbeing bulletin this afternoon.
The number of deaths and cases possess increased in the past a day than Wednesday's figure.
Of the dead, 41 were male and nine were feminine.
Some 12,398 more samples have already been tested in 80 labs across the country. Total 1,079,007 samples have already been till today.
The bulletin informed that another 2,006 more corona patients made recovery from the disease in the last a day, raising the full total number to at least one 1,19,210.
Currently, the death count is 1.30 % while the disease rate is 23.04 per cent.
Globally, COVID-19 possesses killed 630,537 persons and infected 15,390,221.
