Victory Day celebrated in Saudi Arabia
The 49th Victory Day was celebrated in Saudi Arabia on Monday.
The day's programme began on embassy premises hoisting the national flag.
Golam Moshi, Bangladesh Ambassador in Saudi Arabia, paid tributes to the martyrs of the Liberation War by placing wreaths at the makeshift Mausoleum in KSA.
Later, the leaders of different organisations paid their respect by placing wreaths.
Marking the day, a discussion was held at the auditorium of the embassy.
Among others, mission deputy chief Dr Md Nazrul Islam, embassy minister SM Anisul Haque, spoke at the programme which was represented by Saudi Embassy's Chief counselor Dr Farid Uddin Ahmed.
