'Use social media with caution'
Bangladesh Television actors' organization Obhinoy Shilpi Shongho's President Shahidul Alam Sachchu requested their members to use social media with caution. He also requested not to reveal or spread rumor or unauthenticated news. If anyone does that then actions will be taken against that artist, informed the president.

"Obhinoy Shilpi Shongo is a nonpolitical organization. The protest students did were logical and we are with them," added he.  General secretary of the Obhinoy Shilpi Shongo, Ahsan Habib Nasim agreed with the statement of Sacchu. Both of them said, "We have stood beside the students in many areas of the city expressing our solidarity with their protest. We thank our prime minister for meeting all the demands made by the students."

Nasim said to the media, "As some of us were criticized for spreading unauthenticated news, we have requested our artists to be cautios." Actor Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed went live on Facebook on Saturday afternoon claiming that two students had been killed and another blinded during the clashes between students, police and activists of ruling party affiliate organizations. Her live statement created controversy and spread panic among students and on social media.

Later, she admitted that she did not witness the incidents and had received the information from a friend. Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Saturday night arrested Nawshaba from the capital's Uttara. A Dhaka court has placed actor Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed on a four-day remand in police custody in a case filed under the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Act on Sunday.

Metropolitan Magistrate Md Mazharul Haque passed the order on Sunday after Uttara Police Station Sub-Inspector Bikash Chandra Paul, also the case investigation officer, produced her before the court.

About Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed, Nasim said, "Her matter has gone to the court. We can't do anything here. We have continuous communications with her family and also carefully observing the legal matter. We don't want any injustice happen to Nawshaba."
