US-China delegates visit Rohingya camps
The delegation from the United States and China arrived in Cox's Bazar to see the overall situation of the Rohingya refugees who fled to Bangladesh facing atrocity in Rakhine State in Myanmar.

The US delegation arrived at Cox's Bazar Airport on Sunday (September 15) morning. US Ambassador to Dhaka Earl Robert Miller accompanied the delegation.

From there, the delegation went directly to the Rohingya camp ‘Kutupalang-18’. 

On the other hand, a nine-member Chinese delegation arrived at Cox's Bazar Airport around 11am. From there, the delegation, led by Chinese Ambassador to Dhaka Li Jiming, visited the Rohingya camp located on the Zero Line at the Tumbru Konarpara border on Ghumdhum of Bandarban.

It is reported that Li Jiming will hold a meeting with top officials of the Rohingyas and local administration on Rohingya repatriation. 

The meeting of Chinese delegation with officials of the District Administration and UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) was also scheduled to be held in the afternoon.
