UNICEF condemns killing of children in Libya
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) on Monday condemned airstrikes that killed children in the south of the Libyan capital Tripoli and the southern town of Um Al-Aranib."UNICEF is deeply saddened with the reports that children have been killed and injured as a result of the attacks that took place in the past few days in different parts of Libya," UNICEF said in a statement.UNICEF called on the rival parties in Libya to abide by their obligations under international humanitarian and human rights laws to protect children at all times.
