Two gunned down in Khagrachhari
Two members of United Peoples Democratic Front (UPDF) were gunned down allegedly by rival Parbatya Chattagram Jana Sanghaty Samity (PCJSS) reformist group in Panchhari upazila of Khagrachhari on Monday noon.
A group of PCJSS men sprayed bullets on UPDF men Ujjal Bikash Chakma alais Chikku Chakma, 25, and Sohel Rana, 32, in Pujgungmukh area around 12.30 pm and left the place confirming their death.
Chikku Chakma was the son of Ratna Kanti Chakma of Lendia Para, and Sohel Rana was the son of Abdul Mannan of Dohazari Chittagong.
Additional superintendent of Khagrachhari police MM Salahuddin said both the deceased were UPDF collector .
Menwhile, Organizer of UPDF Mikel Chakma condemned the gun attack and blammed rival PCJSS (Reformist) and ruling party for the attack and urged administration to take stern action againist the killed.
