Tisha to star in Fagun Hawa
Actor-cum-director Tauquir Ahmed's "Fagun Hawa" will be based on the Language Movement.  The new project is titled "Fagun Hawa" referring to the time when the tension started to boil in February in 1952 centering the demands for enlisting Bangla as a state language. 

Popular actress of the silver screen Nusrat Imroz Tisha is to star in a historical film, 'Fagun Hawa', directed by Tauquir Ahmed.The actress on Thursday confirmed that she signed the contract. The shooting of the film will start from 10 March.

The story has been inspired by Tito Rahman's short story "Bou Kotha Kow." The film will roll into shooting phase from the historic March 7 in Khulna. The lead role of the film will be played by Siam Ahmed, a popular actor of the small screen. 

Other noted actors include Fazlur Rahman Babu, Rownak Hasan, Shazu Khadem and more. Siam will be seen as a rebellious youth in a village. Fagun Hawa is going to be one of the first ones to bring him to the big screen. But it would not be the very first one. Two more films played by him-Poramon-2 and Dohon are awaiting release.

Fagun Hawa is about to be the sixth film production by Tauquir Ahmed. It is being produced by Impress Telefilm. Tauquir's last film was Haldaa also starring Fazlur Rahman Babu. Indian actor Yashpal Sharma of 'Lagaan' fame will appear in the film too.
