These Motorola handsets will be treated to Android Pie
After Google had released Android Pie last week, a few smartphone manufacturers have detailed which of their smartphones are set to receive the update. Now, Motorola is the latest brand to announce which of their handsets will be eligible to receive Android 9 Pie.
As per a blog post, Motorola will update, the Moto Z3, Z3 Play, Z2 Force Edition, Z2 Play, X4, G6 Plus, G6 and G6 Play. If you have any other phone, then it appears that your luck has run out as these are the only handsets that appear to be getting the update.
Commenting on the update Motorola states that the new Android OS updates will give you a smarter and simpler user experience that adapts to you. The smartphone manufacturer goes on to say, “The more you use your phone, the better the experience gets over time. From the new Intuitive Navigation and Recent App, an improved Do Not Disturb mode, and a colourful settings menu, to anticipated longer battery life, revamped split-screen and more, Android P gives you that piece of pie you’ve been longing for.”
With Android Pie, you will also get a redesigned Quick Settings, simplified volume controls and an easier way to manage notifications.
