Right when the clock struck 12, Swift dropped her newest number featuring in her upcoming album, Lover. In her own way through this song, Swift seems to be calling out the people who discriminate against the LGBTQ+ community.
The lyrics have quite the zing to them and have fans across the world tapping their foot to this newest number. In an Instagram Live session just hours prior to the song release, Taylor revealed the release date for her Album, 'Lover'. Fans all around the world can mark the dates on their calendar.
Lover comes on August 23, 2019. Taylor left a few hints for her fans, way back in April when the first single from the album, ME came out. She said the name for her next appears once on-screen and twice in the song. Known to leave interesting Easter Eggs through her songs and interviews, Taylor was glad her fans were able to decipher them in the best possible way.

You need to Calm Down is now available for listeners across the world with the visual video soon to follow. Confirmed by eonline, the music video is set to premiere on Monday, June 17. Taylor Swift announced that the visual will premiere on Good Morning America, before debuting on YouTube shortly after.
