Supreme Court launches ‘cause-list app’
The Supreme Court has launched an iPhone app to ease the procedure of checking the cause-list and info on-court activities.
Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain inaugurated the ‘Supreme Court cause-list app’ in the afternoon. Law Minister Anisul Huq joined the event through a video conference.
“There’s no option to acquiring digital technology skills to prepare for the future good IT revolution,” the principal justice said.
This app can help judges, lawyers, court officials and employees, and persons seeking justice to easily find out the latest status of cases and their details, he said.
Law Minister Huq said the task to digitalize Bangladesh is certainly going on completely swing and the software proves that the judiciary isn't lagging behind.
“We’ve set a good example and it’ll help accelerate the success of the judiciary,” he said.
Attorney General AM Amin Uddin, who was also present there, said the app is a chance to bring the services to the doorsteps of the people seeking justice.
