Sunny thanks Bengaluru police
Fringe outfit Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Yuva Sene (KRVYS) warned Sunny Leone against performing in Bengaluru. The fringe group feared that the event would spoil the culture of Bengaluru. This threat also came in the wake of the reason that Sunny was playing the lead role in 'Veera Mahadevi'. But Sunny successfully staged her maiden performance in the capital city of Karnataka and the credit goes to the Bengaluru police.
Sunny took to Twitter to express her gratitude and wrote, "Thank you so so much Bangalore Police @BlrCityPolice! You are so amazing and hardworking! And @911Yusuf and my team for your hard work! The people here…you showed me tonight there is more good then evil! Love you all!" In the video, she further added, "Special thank you to the police here in Bangalore. You guys are unbelievable at your job. You are so kind, so gracious, so generous with everything that you have done for me here."
The police ensured that no obstacles were caused during the event and tightened the security in and around the show. To keep everything under control 200 policemen were deployed at the venue in civil dress. KRVYS state president, R Harish called off the agitation citing the reason that they had information that a rival group was planning to create a parallel agitation to defame them.
