Summit Power wins ICMAB award for 8th time
Summit Power Limited secured the first job of the ‘ICMAB Best Corporate Award 2019’ in the power generation category.

Here is the eighth time the organization received this recognition in corporate governance since 2012.

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, as the chief guest of the function, paid the award to Managing Director of Summit Ability Small (SPL) Lt Gen (Retd) Engr Abdul Wadud in a ceremony in the Hotel Radisson here on Thursday.
Professor Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam, chairman of BSEC, Md Jafar Uddin, secretary, ministry of commerce, and AKM Delwer Hussain, president of SAFA were present as special guests, said a press release today. Financial controller and business secretary of Summit Electricity Small Swapon Kumar Pal FCA was as well present at the award ceremony.

Summit Power Limited is an independent power producer of Bangladesh and a publicly listed AAA rated provider. It is component of Summit Group that has a combined 1,941 MW mounted capacity and supplies power to the National Power Grid.

Summit Power Limited features been consistent found in issuing dividends seeing that its enlistment in both Dhaka and Chittagong Inventory Exchanges found in 2005. Summit possesses received five consecutive best power plant awards from the federal government of Bangladesh since 2013.

Since 2007, the award has been introduced as an initiative to recognise the contributions created by the organization entities in Bangladesh and inspire increased competitiveness among the enterprises for better corporate governance.
